Christmas Message: NTBC-K Kiambu Chapter

To our esteemed Champions, Leaders and Partners

It is with deep humility and honor that I share these Christmas wishes with you all. This year has been a journey of finding our place within the system—aligning our goals and refining our impact. While we have celebrated significant success stories, we have also navigated moments of misunderstanding with resilience. Through it all, we have emerged stronger.

A Note of Gratitude

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the individuals and organizations that make our work possible:

  • Professor Stephen Anguva (National Coordinator) & Network Leadership: For your steady vision and leadership.
  • Our Partners (AMREF, RESOK, ICWK, Stop TB Partnership, CHS): Thank you for the mentorship, capacity building, and for granting us the opportunity to integrate into your vital interventions.
  • Mr. Mwangi (CTLC) & all SCTLCs: We appreciate you for embracing our presence and providing the guidance and correction necessary for our growth.
  • Our Champions: You are the heart of this transformation. Your endless sensitizations, screenings, health talks, and dedication to returning patients to care have saved lives.

Our Holiday Call to Action

The journey since February has not always been a smooth ride, but we have made it through together. As we enter the Christmas festivities, let us remember that love for family includes health. I urge our community to remain vigilant. If you or a loved one experiences a cough, fever, or unintended weight loss, the greatest gift you can give is to get screened and tested. Festivities are not a time to neglect our duty, but a moment to strengthen the support for the communities we call home.

Thank you for staying strong. Your efforts are recognized, valued, and deeply appreciated.

I wish all of us a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year

Yours faithfully,
Griffin Chege
